 The team went into friday night bracing themselves for a tight back forth game that would come down to the wire. It didnt start off so good though, the Lions got off to a quick 10-0 lead. That lead didnt last for very long though. The wolves quickly took pace of the game thanks to a monsterous dunk from Joe Raga (# 33). After that dunk the game was pretty much in control for Mackey and company. With the crowd on their side the began to score at will. The stingy wolves defence shut down King's superstar Tolyarn Fitzpatrick who was held to 10 points and appeared to suffer an injury on an attempted fast break dunk, he did return to the game. As for Newsome Dylan Fugate and Joe Raga both finished with double-double and sophmore sensations Samal Shepherd and Jake Hodges each added 12 points as the wolves cruised to a 57-43 victory.Last changed: Jan 13 2008 at 8:49 PM
