The preseason is going to be heated this year. Newsome opens November 19 with a preseason tourney at Seffner Christian. Unlike most seasons, the teams the Wolves face are going to be extremely familiar. On Thursday night at 5:00 the Wolves will tip-off against Tampa Bay Tech, one of the better teams of the new district. On Friday night the Wolves will meet their closest neighbors, the Durant Cougars/ Girls basketball will tip off the regular season Friday at Lennard. Back Archived 2007-2008 Basketball page |
