Armwood defeated Newsome 72-64 behind a breakout performance from Junior Rashad Davis, who scored 5 three pointers and a total of 17 points, all in the second half. Junior Joe Raga led all scorers with 25 points. Joe also added 9 rebounds and four blocked shots. Senior Dylan Fugate scored 15, and Sophomore Samal Shepherd added 12 for the Wolves. Hawks coach Pafunda was quoted by the Tribune as being satisfied with second place.
